One Trick To Save Your Knees While Going Up The Stairs

Do you find you use a banister to pull yourself up the steps, or do you jump with your "good" leg so the painful one doesn't have to do any work? Maybe you go up leading with the better leg and try to keep the "bad" knee out of it entirely. These are all good compensatory strategies, but they do not address the source problem. Pain in the knees, while climbing steps happens when we don't use our body, efficiently and put the wrong type of force through the joint. It's not just climbing stairs, it's HOW you climb the stairs. This video will show you the number one mistake I see people with knee pain make and how to correct them. In some cases, patients have eliminated their pain by making the one change demonstrated in the video. Changing habits takes time, so be patient with yourself and take time and care to learn to use your body more efficiently.
